Infant Insight: Growing Up

To my son; as with everything in life you are getting older. You seem to mature every day right in front of my eyes. Although I am thrilled to know you are developing properly, it saddens me. You were once my baby, my helpless little peanut who relied on me for everything. Now you have a sence of independence. Where you once needed me to hold your bottle, you now grab you cup to take to the living room to sit and have a drink. Where you needed me to move you to see new things, you are now running and chasing to explore for your self. Where you once need to be bounced to sleep in the midnight hours, you now sleep straight through.

No longer are you just my infant impressing me with your insight. You are now an ever-growing and learning child impressing me with your clairvoyance.
